Juliana Schwindt is an audiovisual communication graduate from the Faculty of Arts at UNLP in Argentina, where she also serves as a professor. In 2018, she completed a postgraduate degree in Cultural Management at the National University of Córdoba. In 2022, she was awarded an Ibermedia scholarship to pursue a Master’s in Distribution and Audiovisual Business at ECAM in Spain.

Since 2014, she has been teaching at the Faculty of Arts of the National University of La Plata, lecturing on courses like Realization IV, Production I and II, and the interdisciplinary seminar "How Did They Do It? Common Features of Fictional Images in Art." As of 2024, she holds the position of Head Professor for the Audiovisual Distribution course.

In 2015, she founded VÍAS Audiovisuales, curating films for festival distribution. She was invited to the Distributors’ Meeting at SEMINCI in 2022 and selected for the Locarno Industry Academy at the Bogotá Audiovisual Market (BAM) in Colombia in 2023.

Since 2010, Juliana has worked as a producer, director, and film distributor. Her directorial works include "Elena en el Agua" (5’, 2010), "Siesta" (15’, 2013), and the fulldome documentary "La cuesta del Viento" (26’, 2020). She is currently in post-production on her first feature documentary, "Es dificil hablarle a la nada" (INCAA).

As a producer, she has worked on the feature films "Tejen" (2014), "Arriba quemando el sol" (2014), and "Wanderlust, cuerpos en tránsito" (2019), as well as the documentary "El atardecer de los Grillos," the latter two with support from the National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA).

Between 2021 and 2022, she worked for the Buenos Aires-based production company UN PUMA, leading project development and distribution. During this period, she managed the distribution and release of "Esquí" by Manque La Banca, which won the FIPRESCI award at Berlinale.

During her time in Spain (2022–2023), she worked with The Film Agency as an Audiovisual Strategist, contributing to Think Audience (sales agent support), Think Early (project development analysis), and Think Data (data analysis and report writing), where she continues to collaborate independently.

In 2024, she served as an evaluator for Chile’s Film Development Fund, and in 2025, she was invited as a guest lecturer for the Master’s in Distribution at ECAM in Spain.

Since 2015, she has been working as an international distributor and sales agent for Latin American films.
